Thanks for this explanation. I think a lot of people were seeing smaller numbers than PrimeNet showed and not really understanding the reason why. I would like to put together a "producers" report for each client under my account. Can you provide the formula you use so I can see how each client contributes relative to its peers? Even though your page doesn't keep track of factoring, do you have a formula that would allow me to compare factoring contributions as well? Thanks, Carleton Garrison _________________________________________________________________________ Unsubscribe & list info -- http://www.scruz.net/~luke/signup.htm Mersenne Prime FAQ -- http://www.tasam.com/~lrwiman/FAQ-mers ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 29 Aug 2001 22:52:44 -0400 From: George Woltman Subject: Mersenne: New v21 beta Hi all, The world's longest beta test continues..... New beta of prime95 is at http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm Linux and NT service version has not been updated yet. This release has a new menu choice ... Options/Benchmark. The page http://www.mersenne.org/bench.htm has been stripped of all version 20 benchmarks for Celeron 2, Pentium 3, and Athlon processors. I need version 21 benchmarks for these CPUs to help me populate the new benchmarks page. Thanks! George P.S. Sorry for the long beta period, I haven't had a lot of free time lately. _________________________________________________________________________ Unsubscribe & list info -- http://www.scruz.net/~luke/signup.htm Mersenne Prime FAQ -- http://www.tasam.com/~lrwiman/FAQ-mers ------------------------------ End of Mersenne Digest V1 #878 ******************************
